Vegan Chocolate Turtle Recipe

Easy, homemade and delicious no-bake vegan chocolate turtles.  Made will real food, wholesome, and gluten free ingredients. A perfect dessert for the holidays!

INGREDIENTS NEEDED

-pitted Medjool dates -almond butter -pecan halves -vegan chocolate chips or chocolate bar -coconut oil -coarse sea salt

Add dates and almond butter to a food processor. Blend on high until dates break down and a ball forms.

Roll date mixture into 12 evenly sized balls. Place each ball on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Place 3 pecan pieces upside down on each date ball, while gently pushing down to slightly flatten each date ball.

Flip each piece over so that the date side is face up. Melt chocolate with coconut oil and then evenly spread melted chocolate over each caramel/pecan piece.

Lastly, sprinkle each turtle with coarse sea salt. Allow chocolate to set before storing. Store at room temperature.
