Crispy Roasted Garbanzo  Beans

These crispy oven roasted garbanzo beans (aka chickpeas) are flavor packed and easy to make.  Perfect for snacking and as a healthy vegan protein for salads and sandwiches.

Are chickpeas and garbanzo beans the same thing? Yes, chickpeas and garbanzo beans are the same thing. 


Drain and rinse your garbanzo beans (aka chickpeas). 


Place garbanzo beans on a kitchen towel (or paper towel) and thoroughly pat dry. You'll want them fully dry before roasting.


Add garbanzo beans to a small mixing bowl and add olive oil, salt, paprika, and garlic; mix until beans are evenly coated.


Pour garbanzo beans onto a baking sheet (do not line the baking sheet) and bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes.

These are best if enjoyed straight from the oven. As they cool they will lose some of their crispy texture.

Do need to remove the skin? Nope. How long do the last? 3-4 days, but best served right away.  How do I know when they are done? They will be lightly brown, dry, and crisp on the outside.
