Crispy Oven Roasted Chickpeas

These oven roasted chickpeas are flavorful and crispy.  Ready in 30 minutes and are great to snack on or they make a healthy vegan protein for salads and sandwiches.

INGREDIENTS

chickpeas paprika garlic powder fine sea salt extra-virgin olive oil

Are chickpeas and garbanzo beans the same thing? Yes, chickpeas and garbanzo beans are the same thing. 

STEP 1

Drain and rinse your chickpeas (aka garbanzo beans). 

STEP 2

Place chickpeas on a kitchen towel (or paper towel) and thoroughly pat dry. You'll want them fully dry before roasting.

STEP 3

Place dried chickpeas in a mixing bowl and mix in the olive oil, salt, garlic powder, and paprika.  

STEP 4

Pour chickpeas onto a baking sheet (do not line the baking sheet) and bake at 375 for 20-25 minutes. 

Best if enjoyed straight out of the oven. Great as a healthy snack, or as a delicious vegan protein for salads and sandwiches!
