Oat  Flour Pancakes

INGREDIENTS

-oat flour -baking powder -sea salt -milk -pure maple syrup -coconut oil or butter -vanilla extract -egg -apple cider vinegar

STEP 1

Combine oat flour, baking powder, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Then add remaining ingredients to same bowl. 

STEP 2

Whisk wet ingredients together first and then fully mix all ingredients together. Let batter rest for 5 minutes before making pancakes. 

STEP 3

Preheat griddle to medium-high heat. Pour batter onto griddle, using about 1/4 cup for each pancake. Once bubbles form, flip and brown the other side. 

Topping suggestions:  - pure maple syrup - fresh berries - sliced banana  - whipped cream - nut butters

Oat flour:  You can make your own oat flour by grinding oats or you can buy pre-made oat flour. If needing gluten free, be sure to buy/use certified gluten-free oat flour.
