How to Roast Cashews

Roasting cashews adds a slight crunch and brings out their natural nutty flavor.  This recipe walks through 3 easy ways for roasting cashews. 


Evenly spread raw cashews on a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake at 350-degrees F for 10-12 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes. 

Heat a skillet over medium-low heat. Add cashews and cook for 4-6 minutes, stirring frequently. 


Place on a microwave safe plate and microwave for 1 minute. Stir and continue microwaving in 30 second increments, stirring in between, until browned. 


Regardless of roasting method, cashews are done when they are lightly browned and have a nutty aroma.
