Healthy  Apple Crisp

This apple crisp is made with real food ingredients like oats, coconut sugar, and apples. This apple crisp is refined sugar free and  gluten free/ dairy free friendly.


-granny smith apples -honey crisp apples (or other sweet apple) -lemon juice -ground cinnamon -tapioca or arrowroot starch -coconut sugar -rolled oats -oat flour -coconut oil or butter


Start by slicing the apples (you can peel them or leave the skin on).


Place the sliced apples in a large bowl and mix with the lemon juice, cinnamon, starch, and coconut sugar.


In a small bowl, combine the oats, oat flour, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and coconut oil.


Pour the apples in a large baking dish and top with the oat mixture. Bake at 350-degrees F for 1 hour.

Serve this healthier apple crisp warm! Top with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or enjoy as is.
