Easy Gluten-free Waffles

This gluten-free waffle recipe is made using a blend of single ingredient gluten-free flours.   Perfectly fluffy on the inside with a crisp outside. Easy & ready in less than 30 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

- almond flour - gluten-free oat flour - tapioca starch - baking powder - salt - banana - coconut oil - egg -milk (dairy free if needed) - vanilla extract

STEP 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients (gluten-free flours, starch, baking powder, salt). Create a well and add the wet ingredients.

Whisk the wet ingredients first and then fully mix in with the dry ingredients to create the batter.

Scoop 1/2 cup of batter onto your pre-heated waffle iron. 

STEP 4

Close waffle iron and cook until golden brown and crisp. Repeat previous steps until all batter has been cooked. Makes about 6 waffles.   

Add your favorite toppings and enjoy! Nut butter, pure maple syrup, fresh fruit, or chocolate chips are all great options!
