Chocolate Baked Oats

These healthy one-bowl chocolate baked oats are made with whole grain oats, flaxseeds, and cacao. No blending required and kid friendly.  Perfect for breakfast or brunch! 

INGREDIENTS

- milk - pure maple syrup -eggs - pure vanilla extract - coconut oil - rolled oats - baking powder & salt - cacao powder - ground flaxseeds - chocolate chips (optional)

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the wet ingredients. Then add the remaining dry ingredients to the bowl.

Fully mix all ingredients together to create the chocolate baked oats batter.

Lightly grease a square baking dish and evenly pour oat mixture into pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips if desired.

Bake at 375 degrees F for 35-40 minutes, or until center is just set. Don't overbake.

- Add in walnuts, shredded coconut, or chocolate chips to the batter. -Make dairy free by using dairy-free milk.  -Use certified gluten-free oats if needed. -Great for food prep!

TIPS

Top with nut butter, pure maple syrup, and/or fresh fruit. Serve alongside hard-boiled eggs for extra-protein.
