Almond Flour Biscuit Recipe

This Paleo almond flour biscuit recipe is easy to make and is free of dairy, gluten, grains, and added sugars. These biscuits are tender and fluffy on the inside with a firm exterior.  Made in one bowl, and ready in less than 30 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

-almond flour -flaxseed meal -arrowroot starch (or tapioca starch) -baking soda -garlic powder -salt -apple cider vinegar -eggs -extra-virgin olive oil

Mix the dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. Push the dry ingredients to one side and add the wet ingredients.

Whisk the wet ingredients together and then fully mix all ingredients to create the "dough."

Using a spring-loaded scoop, scoop dough on a cookie sheet, leaving about an inch or two between each biscuit.

Slightly flatten each biscuit and then bake at 400-degrees F for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.

Try adding some fresh rosemary, or if you aren't dairy free, add in some shredded cheddar or parmesan before baking!
