Air Fryer Smashed Potatoes

Follow along with this easy tutorial to learn how to make delicious air fryer smashed potatoes. 

GATHER YOUR INGREDIENTS

- baby gold potatoes - extra-virgin olive oil and/or butter - garlic powder - fine sea salt - paprika - ground pepper

STEP 1

Boil the potatoes in a small sauce pan until they are fork tender (about 15 minutes). 

Drain the boiled potatoes and place in a bowl. Mix in the oil/butter, garlic powder, paprika, salt/pepper.

Place potatoes on a baking sheet to smash. Using the bottom of a cup, or potato masher,  smash the potatoes to 1/4" thickness.

Carefully place smashed potatoes in your air fryer basket. Do not overlap the potatoes.

STEP 4

Air fry at 400-degrees F for 10-12 minutes, or until browned and crispy. No need to flip during cook time. 

STEP 5

Transfer to a plate and serve alongside ranch dressing, ketchup, or your favorite dipping sauce. Great as a side dish or appetizer.
